Krista Carpenter, MS, CLC

Krista is a Certified Life Coach that received her Masters of Science degree in Counseling in 2003 from Texas A&M University.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 2000. Krista went from LPC to life coach for a number of reasons:  Her Strict adherence to confidentiality (that using insurance can prevent); her desire to inform clients about alternatives to prescription medications, and the ability to incorporate spirituality if the client requests to do so. Krista loves to work with Highly Sensitive and Empathic people, and is skilled at helping those individuals to feel empowered and in control of their own emotions.  Krista uses a strengths based approach to Coaching, which allows clients to focus on the present (and the future) rather than repeatedly discussing the past.  Her fee is 100 per session.

Bret Phillips, NLC

Registered Psychotherapist

 

Bret Phillips is a Registered Psychotherapist, and a Certified Missional Coach. They have extensive coaching and counseling experience with couples and individuals of all ages. Bret was board ordained as a Pastor in 2012, and in 2014 gained certification as a Missional Coach from Multiply Vineyard and Logan Leadership. But please, don't let that scare you!  Bret is the least preachy person you'll meet.  Bret has provided coaching to persons with a variety of concerns, including life crisis, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, goal setting, and vocational changes. They have been trained to facilitate marital counsel and relationship inventory.  Additionally, Bret has volunteered within School District 51 and non-profit organizations, including YoungLife and Colorado Discover Ability. Bret enjoys working with a wide variety of people, and has a special gift for work in the LGBTQ community.  They have gotten rave reviews when working with groups of doctors and other professionals.  Bret believes in a client-centered approach, understanding that one modality does not work for everyone; and truly enjoys working with students of all ages, young adults, and couples.  At this time, Bret's fee is 100 per session.

Robin Levitt, MA, NLC, LPCC

Registered Psychotherapist

Robin is an experienced psychotherapist who has two Master's degrees, one in Counseling and the other in Clinical Mental Health. She is well trained and experienced in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and loves her work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, chronic pain and substance abuse.  Robin focuses on a person's mind-body connection, and includes training in mindfulness and meditation techniques.  Robin has specialized training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and (DBT).  Robin enjoys working with couples, whether it's dealing with difficult issues, or just "fine tuning" relationships.  An important part of her therapy is working together with each person to develop treatment that is individualized for them. The end goal of her therapy is for the client to understand what they want to know about themselves and feel mentally, emotionally and physically better.  She incorporates humor effortlessly into her sessions.  Currently, Robin's fee is $90 for individual sessions and $100 for couples counseling.

Laura Blair, MA, NCC, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate

Laura Blair is a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2012 from Regent University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Special Education and Early Childhood Development in 2006 from Old Dominion University.  She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. Since 2013, Laura has provided services to individuals and families struggling with a variety of issues, including addictions, depression, anxiety, ADHD and Autism.  She also provides premarital counseling and relationship counseling.  Laura has volunteered for organizations working with transitional youth, teen parents, and mothers of preschoolers. She uses a variety of modalities, as no two clients' needs are the same, but is predominately client-centered and solution focused.  Laura will surprise you with her wit, insight, and humor.  At this time, Laura accepts Cigna, Aetna, Mines & Associates, Tricare, UMR, United HealthCare, RMHP, or self pay at $100 per session for individual therapy or $120 per session for couples therapy. Clinical supervision is also available; call for details.

Carrie Le Blanc, MA, LPC, NCC, DCC Licensed Professional Counselor

Carrie has been working in the counseling field since 2004.  As your therapist, Carrie prioritizes creating a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change.  She loves to address your challenges, but is extremely good at helping people to realize their goals. Carrie believes that therapy is a process that can move you toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the life you desire. Carrie is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, but she often uses a humanistic psychodynamic approach with her clients. Carrie has specialty training in trauma, and loves to do this type of work with individuals, couples, and groups.  Past work in small clinics, psychiatric hospitals, day treatment settings, home based therapy, military settings, and recently working as a therapist in Russia, Carrie has a variety of experience. Carrie utilizes a strengths based approach,  believing that as we all go through experiences we will learn, grow, and change for the better.

Carrie accepts self pay at $100 per session for individual therapy or $120 per session for couples therapy.

Lotus Counseling's Therapy Dog

Creek has been Lotus's therapy dog since 2013.  She is trained to greet clients in the waiting room, and provide some love, if you invite her to sit with you on the couch.  She enjoys mountain biking, running, and being petted.  She eats about 237 treats a day, but still claims to be hungry.
